As a parent and a professional, I’ve seen firsthand how intentional the staff is about creating opportunities for students, and I wanted to contribute to that mission.

My Story

I chose this work because I genuinely care about kids and families and the impact the right support can have on their lives. Working in under-resourced communities has shown me how important it is to meet children where they are and make learning feel safe, engaging, and meaningful. Whether it’s through early childhood education, afterschool programs, literacy initiatives, or hands-on enrichment, my focus is always on helping children build confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation for their future. I believe deeply in community and partnership, and I’m committed to creating spaces where every child feels supported, valued, and given the chance to thrive.

What Brings Me Joy

What brings me joy is seeing children show up every day eager to learn and experience new opportunities with their eyes wide open. I also find joy in being part of a learning environment that is truly happy to serve children and intentional about ensuring meaningful learning is taking place.

What I'm Good At

I am good at creating learning environments where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. I have a strong ability to build meaningful programs, respond thoughtfully to the needs of children and families, and balance structure with warmth so learning truly takes place.

What the World Needs

The world needs people who truly care about children and are willing to show up for them every day. It needs learning environments where kids feel safe, supported, and excited to learn, and where adults are intentional about making sure learning is actually happening. The world needs strong communities that create opportunities for children, meet families where they are, and believe every child deserves to be seen, valued, and given the chance to thrive.

Why Commons?

I wanted to be a part of Buffalo Commons because I believe in the school’s mission to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every child has the opportunity to grow and thrive. As a parent and a professional, I’ve seen firsthand how intentional the staff is about creating opportunities for students, and I wanted to contribute to that mission of valuing, nurturing, and empowering each child.
